I founded Simply Home in 2013 after experiencing firsthand the stress of renovating my mother's Austin home. Since then, I've focused on creating a more transparent, organized, and homeowner-focused approach to remodeling.
After witnessing the stress of the renovation on my mother before selling my childhood home, I found myself searching for a better way to coordinate vendors, track materials, schedule crews, manage the budget, and to keep the entire project moving forward.
"The experience showed me how stressful remodeling could become for homeowners, even when the goal was to create something better. It also made me realize that the process itself needed to change."
That experience ultimately led me to found Simply Home in 2013. Since then, I've built the company around clear communication, accountability, quality construction, and a better overall experience for homeowners in Austin.
Today, I continue to lead Simply Home with those values at the center of how we approach every renovation.
My work extends beyond Simply Home and into the Austin community.
I served as a chair and on the board of the Austin Young Chamber for 5 years and have been involved with the Junior League for over 12 years. I also work with Saint Louise House closely and Community First to support housing needs in our local community.
Being involved in the community has given me the opportunity to contribute beyond the remodeling industry and connect with other people who are working to make Austin a stronger place to live and work.
My work at Simply Home has given me experience across both the business and construction sides of residential remodeling.
One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that a successful renovation isn't only about the finished space. The process matters just as much.
Homeowners are making a significant investment in their homes, and they deserve to understand what is happening, why decisions are being made, and what to expect throughout the project.
That's why I've focused Simply Home on preparation, planning, communication, accountability, and helping homeowners navigate the unexpected parts of construction.
There will always be things that cannot be predicted in a renovation. What matters is having the right team in place to identify issues, communicate clearly, and work through solutions together.
