+ Point Out Revisions to Plans or Scope of Work Changes via Email
+ A Clearly Written Scope of Work
+ Updated Renderings and CAD Plans - the DWG file needed
We request that designers attend our Project Manager meeting that kicks off the construction.
Material spreadsheet is finalized with all specs updated before the project begins.
All scope if finalized and no changes to design are made after our on site visit with our vendors.
If you have any changes to plans and revisions, please send us a labeled copy of the revised plan and tell us specifically what changed. This will affect our contract with the clients and pricing.
Also, we want to make sure we have the most up to date plans save in our portal for our entire team to use. We build our vendors scope of work off of our contract and your plans.

The Design Liaison Role
At Simply Home, our mission is to simplify and elevate the renovation process, for both our clients and the incredible design professionals with whom we collaborate. To further that goal, we’re excited to launch a new in-house interior design support role. This role is here to complement the work of interior designers. We’re not stepping into the role of a designer—we’re stepping in to assist, support, and keep projects moving. See bullet points to the left! We also offer support for one-off or smaller design tasks that may not fall within the scope of a full-service design engagement. Think: sourcing a few key finishes, finalizing cabinet or lighting selections, or organizing vendor details. These smaller pieces can often be time-consuming, and we’re here to help fill that gap efficiently and respectfully. And most importantly: when we’re supporting a project with a design firm, the credit and creative vision remain exactly where it belongs, with the designer. Our goal is to protect that vision, not take the spotlight. This is all about making the process smoother, less stressful, and more collaborative for everyone involved.
